In 2024, Wesway completed an in-depth review and refresh of our Strategic Plan, along with updates to our Mission and Organizational Values.
Guided by consultation with the community, families we serve, staff, volunteers and key partners, this new direction reaffirms our commitment to personalized care, inclusive services and a stronger future for family caregivers across Northern Ontario.
Our updated mission and values reflect who we are today, and where we are going. They reinforce our promise to meet people where they are, respond to their unique needs, and lead with compassion, respects and innovation.
Our Mission
Wesway enhances the well-being of caregivers by:
- offering personalized respite services,
- providing dedicated support, and
- advocating for a more responsive and inclusive community of care.
